The type of personal information we collect

• When you request an estimate, we collect the following information: Personal identifiers, including your title, name, company name (where applicable), address (including postcode), telephone number(s), and email address.
• We collect information not directly linked to your name but associated with an IP address during your visit to our website. This includes recording the date and time of your visit, tracking the pages you explore and the duration of each visit, and noting the page from which you exited our website, along with any referring website or advertisement that led you to our site.
• If you choose to pay by bank transfer or if a refund is necessary and we use the same means, Fruit Clinic will have access to your bank details, including a sort code and account number. Although our IT systems do not store this information, the banking system we use may retain it.

How we get the personal information , why we have it and what we do with it

• Your personal information is provided by you through our website, an email or a telephone call.
• We need to assess the viability of our services for you and offer an estimate of the fees you would incur if you place an order with us.
• Fruit Clinic do not receive personal information indirectly through any other sources.
• We do not share your personal information with third-parties unless, on rare occasions, it might aid the service process. In this scenario, we would request your explicit and emailed consent to share your data and make you fully aware of the type of data we intended to share with the third-party and why.

• c. We have a contractual obligation for the purposes of completing the provision of services to you.
• d. We have a legitimate interest in the information for the purposes of safeguarding staff involved in performing our collection and delivery (return) service.

How we store your personal information

• Fruit Clinic securely store your personal information.
• We do not retain paper-based copies of your personal information.
• We store your information in digital format, including emails or a database of inquiries, estimates, and orders. Fruit Clinic protect this data using at least one type of credential authentication and, in most cases, implement two-factor authentication and complex passwords.
• Fruit Clinic retain your personal information for 30 days if you contact us but choose not to place an order.
• We hold your personal information for 12 months if you place an order with us and choose not to provide marketing consent. This is for the purpose of easing the handling of any further estimate/order requests pertaining to the device we have already performed work on or other devices you might own.
• We retain personal information for 24 months if you place an order with us and provide marketing consent. If you do not respond to any marketing or contact us during this period, we will delete the information unless you confirm through an email request that you still want to receive marketing contact from us.
• When we delete your personal information, we remove it from local and external (cloud-based) storage, any repository of ‘deleted items,’ and our databases on a ‘remove permanently’ basis.

• Under data protection law you have rights, including:
• a. Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
• b. Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
